Facial contour was manipulated using a technique called photomorphanalysis and digital photography. This was useful in obtaining informed consent and the patient was shown a prediction of the outcome of surgery. This technique permitted great precision in the correction of a midface deformity with minimal access techniques, and obviated the need for major surgery. |
