This was useful in obtaining informed consent and the patient was shown a prediction of the outcome of surgery. The technique was very useful in the clinical audit of this case, and demonstration of outcome. This technique permitted great precision in the correction of a midface deformity with minimal access techniques, and as no surgery was carried out on the mild secondary deformity of the zygomatic arch, there was no need for major surgery. |
